Who we are

Our Club is a proud part of the Gold Coast community and of Rotary International. Rotary is a global network of more than a million volunteers who believe that great things happen when people come together.

 

For over one 100 years, Rotary Clubs have been making a difference to communities in the world.

 

The Rotary Club of Gold Coast was formed on 1 July 2011 by the merger of the Rotary Clubs of Surfers Paradise Central (1977) and Gold Coast Central (1985), two clubs with a proud history of service over 50 years. 

 

We are a dinner club, meeting fortnightly at the Gold Coast Tavern in Bundall, the heart of the city.

 

We are community and business leaders representing different professions, experiences, and perspectives but with a shared desire to connect with others to address the challenges facing people, our own community and communities around the world.

Our Location
 
Centrally located on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia the Rotary Club of Gold Coast is part of Rotary District 9640, an area that covers parts of South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. 
 
The Gold Coast is a key tourist destination with over 10 million visitors annually and is renowned for its beaches, theme parks, hinterland and nature areas, restaurants and culture.
Meetings
 
We have regular club meetings on the the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:30pm for a 6:00pm start at the Gold Coast Tavern.  The Tavern is located at 150 Bundall Road, Bundall  QLD 4215 opposite HOTA.
 
A hot meal is available for a reasonable cost and drinks can be purchased at the bar.
 
We may vary meeting locations for social events, vocational or community visits, or meetings with other clubs.  Please refer to our calendar for up-to-date meeting details.
