Next House - Saturday 27 November, Southport

It is the Christmas season and for most this is a time of love and goodwill for friends and family. However at this time of year unfortunately the terrible community issue of domestic violence is on the rise. Thus the houses will be happening more regularly.

Also, I wanted to use this opportunity to send a huge thank you to the Rotary Volunteers who have assisted so far in setting up houses. You are everyday heroes to me.

Please join us and spread the Christmas spirit and volunteer for the next Rizeup house on the morning of Saturday the 27th November.

At this time of year I feel the joy we can provide to families who have experienced violence and adversity has a very special meaning and helps promote healing through the promotion of the fact 'we care'.

Please email me if you can assist with this house. I would love to welcome new Rotary on-boarders to the Rize-up family of volunteers.

Please email me if you need further instruction on the process of Rize-up onboarding.

Louise Pearce Community Director
