Greetings fellow Rotarians! What a fabulous meeting we had last Thursday. We were lucky enough to be visited by our 3 Ernie Hicks Scholarship recipients from Griffith University. It is always a special evening when the students come along and this meeting was no exception. If you weren't able to make it, never fear! The students will return again later in the year.

Keeping with the theme of Youth related, we were also visited by a National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) student that our club sponsored, Gabby Booth. Gabby shared with us her time at the NYSF and how this experience has helped to make her future path that little bit more clearer.

We also inducted our newest member into the club, Lindy Dupree. It was great to see everyone welcome Lindy with open arms.

At our next meeting on Thursday 20 May we will be visited by the Co-Founders of Manasprings in Kenya, Carey Westwood and Wanjiru (Chiro) Waithaka. Come along and hear how these two amazing women are making a positive change in the lives of so many people through empowering women.

If you haven't already, mark this date on your calendar; Sunday 27 June 12pm because it's Change Over! More details to come in this newsletter.
